Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games: India’s results on August 6

The Indian women’s national hockey team lost its match for the bronze medal to Great Britain with a score of 3-4 and finished fourth in the standings, which is equal to the feat of the 1980 team.

7:00 AM: Women’s Bronze Medal Match (India vs Great Britain) – India lost 3-4 to finish fourth to match 1980 standing

8:07 AM: Women’s Freestyle 50kg 1/8 Final (Seema Bisla vs Sarra Hamdi of Tunisia) – Seema lost 1-3

8:49 AM: Men’s Freestyle 65kg 1/8 Final (Bajrang Punia vs Ernazar Akmataliev of Kyrgyzstan) – Bajrang won by way of highest-scoring move after the match ended at 3-3. He then went on to win by fall against Morteza Ghiasi of Iran in the quarterfinal to make it to the semis.
