Match between SL and IND 2nd T20I postponed after Krunal Pandya tests positive for Covid
The second international T20 match between Sri Lanka and India in Colombo on Tuesday was postponed after Indian athlete Krunal Pandya tested positive for coronavirus.
In a statement released, the BCCI said that following the Rapid Antigen Tests conducted ahead of the match on Tuesday morning, Pandya was found to be positive. The medical teams have identified eight members as close contacts.
The entire contingent is undergoing RT-PCR tests today to ascertain any further outbreak in the squad.
The match will now be played on Wednesday (July 28).
India are leading the three-match series after an emphatic 38-run win in the opening game on Sunday. Krunal Pandya took 1 for 16 in his two overs in the first game.

The development is also likely to affect the travel plans of Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav, who were due to join the Indian team in England after this series for an upcoming Test assignment against England next month.
